Peace Fleece was started in 1985 as a response to the Cold War and global nuclear crisis. The company has varied its focus throughout the years on nations and people that the US has historically been in conflict with. We reach out and connect with the individuals of these communities not only to support their pastoral shepherds, but also to create human connections and friendships. We strive to increase the market value of their wool and to raise awareness of their traditional pastoral lifestyles.
