ELEMENTAL AFFECTS COASTAL

Jeane deCoster of Elemental Affects and Brook Sinnes of Sincere Sheep worked together to create this new US-made yarn that combines Shaniko wool, silk, and flax. Besides wanting to make sure that the yarn has a comfortable hand not always seen in yarns featuring flax, they also wanted the Coastal to have structural integrity, a light texture, and a nice drape. A number of designs are available using Coastal - all available on Ravelry. 

50% Shaniko wool, 25% mulberry silk, 25% Belgian flax
5-6 sts/inch (US 5-6 / 3.5-4.0mm needles)
