We love the slow moving gradients of our Polka Dot Sheep's Striata yarn. Aimee Alexander, the owner of Polka Dot Sheep, designed the Switchback shawl to make use of Striata's color transitions with directional changes. This modular technique creates the sense of movement of color throughout as if you are heading up a mountain road and down the other side.
Switchback is easy to knit with garter stitch throughout the shawl. It can also be easily modified in length as well as width.

- 2 skeins of PDS Striata (80% superwash merino / 20% silk; 430 yards/skein; fingering weight)
