NEEDLE GAUGE Alpaca

This Alpaca tool was inspired by a particularly charismatic alpaca from a local farm. It will make a great gift for your best knitting friend and useful tool for your own knitting bag.

This knitting needle gauge's precise holes are laser cut from bamboo, perfect for measuring knitting needles from sizes 0 to 17. Both the US sizes and metric measurement are clearly etched above and below each hole to ensure it is universal for every knitter.


Each piece is hand sanded after laser cutting to smooth out corners and edges.
It is important to me that each item I make is special and bamboo contributes to this as a unique material.

Bamboo plywood is sustainable and is stronger than wood. Your needle gauge won't be indestructible but can withstand more than a needle gauge made of birch. Bamboo has a rich history of roles and uses in Asian mythology and culture and is even used in Chinese medicine because of its anti-bacterial properties.

This needle gauge measures approximately 3" x 4" x 1/8". Because it is made of a natural material, the appearance of each tool may slightly vary.
