YARN SUBSTITUTIONS (knit/crochet) via Zoom - WEDNESDAY, Apr 21 from 6-7pm CT
Substituting a different yarn than what a pattern calls for can be a challenge. Join Elizabeth for a discussion of the myriad things to consider when making this decision.
Skills taught in this class:
- Understanding how fiber content affects substitution
- Calculating grist and how to use it
- Understanding the limits of the CYCA weight classification system
Class Materials (click on the links to order your items for delivery or pick up before class; if shipping, please allow at least 5 days):
- Yarn - not necessary
- Needles/Hooks - not necessary
- Paper and pen/pencil; calculator
Students must have access to Zoom!
Homework - Please print any handouts (sent via email prior to the class)

Cancellation Policy - Student cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the class to receive a refund for the class fee. After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. Any yarn or supplies purchased for the class are subject to our regular return policy.
