2 SOCKS ON 2 CIRCULAR NEEDLES (knit) - Thursdays from 6-8pm beginning Feb 6
Never suffer from 2nd Sock Syndrome again! In this class, you will learn how to knit two socks at the same time using two circular needles. We will cast on at the cuff and knit the sock down to the toe. You will learn how to cast on and set up your knitting for the 2-at-a-time method, plus tips and tricks for making this technique work for your. Basic sock knitting knowledge is a must.
Skills taught in this class:
- How to cast on and prepare your stitches for knitting 2-at-a-time socks
- Tips on how to manipulate the needles
- Reinforcement of basic sock techniques, including heel shaping, picking up stitches and kitchener stitch
Required Materials:
- Pattern - Knit to Fit Socks by Nancy Lindberg ($5.00)
- Yarn (purchased separately at 3 Kittens) 100 grams of sock/fingering weight yarn plus matching reinforcing thread (optional)
- Needles - US 2/2.75mm 24" circulars - 2 sets

Cancellation Policy - Student cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the first session to receive a refund for the class fee. After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. Any yarn or supplies purchased for the class are subject to our regular return policy. If less than three people sign up for the class, each session may be shortened. We may need to reschedule due to weather or teacher illness.

| Instructor Bio: | Jane Piotraschke has worked at 3 Kittens since 2010 as a sales associate and instructor. Jane teaches beginning knitting, basic socks, as well as anything that has a cable, mosaic, short rows. In addition, Jane teaches several studios each month. She is currently working towards the Master Knitter certification with The Knitting Guild of America. |
