SOMMERFRISCHE - Wednesdays from 9-11am beginning Feb 8
Looking at this shawl straight on, you see stripes, but look at it on an angle, and you'll see triangles! Come learn the simple technique of Illusion or Shadow Knitting while making these comfy shawl. It's easier than you think - and fun!

- Yarn (must be purchased separately from 3 Kittens Needle Arts) - sport weight yarn: 460 yards MC, 480 yards CC. We suggest Poema (1 ball) for the MC, and Arroyo (2 skeins) or Crew Sport (2 skeins) or BFL Sport (2 skeins) for your CC.
- Needles - US 6/4.0mm 36" circular or size to obtain gauge
- Knit kit including stitch markers; waste yarn; pen/pencil for notes
Homework -
Please read through pattern and make notes of any questions you have.
Knit a gauge swatch as follows - With US 6/4mm needles and MC, cast on 36 sts and work in garter stitch for 6". Bind off. Block. Measure. Adjust needle size if necessary. (Please note - you will loose the illusion effect if the pattern is knit too loosely; take time to check your gauge!)

Cancellation Policy - Student cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the class to receive a refund for the class fee. After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. Any yarn or supplies purchased for the class are subject to our regular return policy. 3 Kittens may need to cancel a class if not enough people sign up, but we try to provide other options when we can. We may need to reschedule due to weather or teacher illness.
