FIXING MISTAKES (knit) - Saturday, Mar 16 from 3-4pm

Nothing is more frustrating than discovering a mistake and not knowing how to fix it! This one-hour in-person Toolbox class will cover some of the most common mistakes. 

Skills taught in this class:

• How to pick up a dropped stitch in stockinette stitch
• How to pick up a dropped stitch in garter stitch
• Correcting a stitch that was purled that should have been knit
• How to unknit (tink)
• Using a life line

Class Materials:

• Yarn - Worsted weight - light colored, smooth texture (leftovers are fine or purchase one ball of Berroco Ultra Wool)
• US 8/5mm needles (circular, dpn or straight)
• Knit kit including Silvalume Handi Tool, locking stitch markers, scissors, paper and pen/pencil

Homework - Work 3 swatches (DO NOT CUT YARN; place on stitch holders) and bring to class:

• Swatch 1 - CO 20 sts, work in stockinette st (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) for 3”.
• Swatch 2 - CO 20 sts, work in garter st (knit every row) for 3”.
• Swatch 3 – CO 20 sts, work in stockinette st for 2”. Next row: k7, p1, k5, p1, k6. Purl next row.

Cancellation Policy - Student cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the class to receive a refund for the class fee. After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. Any yarn or supplies purchased for the class are subject to our regular return policy. If less than three people sign up for the class, each session may be shortened.

Instructor Bio:	Elizabeth joined the 3 Kittens staff in July 2017 as a sales associate and an instructor. She enjoys knitting cables and textures. She has had several designs published which can be found on Ravelry and at www.yarn.com. Elizabeth is a certified Master Knitter.
