Beginning Crochet Class
Relax and learn to crochet with confidence while you make this fun, fashionable cowl! In just four sessions, you will learn the basics of crochet and walk away with a completed cowl. (Be prepared to make more for family and friends - they will be asking for one once they see yours!)
Skills taught in this class:
- How to start your crochet piece (chain stitch)
- Basic crochet stitches - single crochet, double crochet and half-double crochet
- How to finish your piece, including weaving in ends, braiding the strips, and sewing it all together
Required Materials:
- Pattern - Beginner Crocheted Cowl by Hillary Robertson for 3 Kittens - included in class fee
- Beginning Crochet Kit (purchased separately at 3 Kittens) - Includes How to Booklet, I Hook, tapestry needle - included in class fee
- Yarn (purchased separately at 3 Kittens prior to date of first class) - worsted weight yarn - 3 complementary solid colors (no dark colors), approximately 220 yards of each; we recommend Berroco Vintage, Berroco Ultra Wool, or Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok.

Cancellation Policy - Student cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the first session to receive a refund for the class fee. After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. Any yarn or supplies purchased for the class are also not refundable. 3 Kittens may need to cancel a class if not enough people sign up, but we try to provide other options when we can. We may need to reschedule due to weather or illness.
