Soundtrack (knit) - beginning Tuesday Mar 10 1-3pm



Join us to make this fun 2-color slip stitch top. Worked in the round from the bottom up as one piece until you divide for the front and back, this top has impact without being difficult.

Skills taught in this class:

  • Short row shaping
  • Slip stitch colorwork (just one color per round)
  • 3-needle bind off
Required materials: 
  • Pattern - Soundtrack by Elizabeth Smith ($7.50)
  • Yarn (purchased separately at 3 Kittens) - 425-855 yards Color A and 360-760 yards Color B of worsted weight yarn. We used Knitted Wit Worsted (100% superwash merino wool; 200 yards). Other yarns we recommend - Malabrigo Rios, Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok, Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted
  • Needles - US 7/4.5mm 32" circular and US 8/5mm 32" circular or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Notions - knit kit, including locking st markers

Homework
  • Read through the pattern before class - make note of any questions you may have and choose the size you wish to make

Meets 4x

Cancellation Policy - Student cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the first session to receive a refund for the class fee. After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. Any yarn or supplies purchased for the class are subject to 3 Kittens' normal return policy. 3 Kittens may need to cancel a class if not enough people sign up, but we try to provide other options when we can. We may need to reschedule due to weather or illness.

Instructor: Elizabeth
Instructor Bio: Elizabeth joined the 3 Kittens staff in July 2017 as a sales associate and an instructor. She enjoys knitting cables and textures. She has had several designs published which can be found on Ravelry and at www.yarn.com. Elizabeth is a certified Master Knitter.
