Knitting Refresher - TBD

Have you forgotten how to knit? If you've learned the basics of knitting before, but you just can't remember how to start, this is the perfect class for you. We'll review the basics (cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and gauge) and help you get your first project started.

Required Materials:

  • Pattern - Choose Oat (cowl), Wheat (scarf), or Barley (hat) from "The Simple Collection" by Tin Can Knits (all patterns are free; please download and print your pattern at prior to class)
  • Yarn - Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted (100% wool; 245 yards) or Berroco Ultra Wool (100% superwash wool; 292 yards) - depending on size chosen, you will need 70-170 yards for Barley, 75-400 yards for Oats, and 400 yards for Wheat.
  • Needles - US 8/5mm 16" circular and for Barley only US 6/4mm 16" circular
  • Knit Kit, including stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needles, etc.

Class Preparation:
Download and print your chosen pattern at Bring pattern to class.
