What is Your Return Policy?
Products in unopened & original packaging may be returned within 30 days WITH A RECEIPT, except for the following:
- Blank Canvas
- Gift Cards
- Sale Items
- Special Orders
- Trunk Show Items
- Yarn that has been wound into cakes (no longer in original put up, label removed)

How much is shipping?
We have flat rate shipping on all packages.
- Domestic (USA) shipping -
- Regular (allow 7-10 days) - $8.95
- Next Day (order must be placed by 10am) - $45.95
- International (all non-USA) shipping (allow 2-3 weeks) - $20.00
How quickly will my item ship?
We are a small business, and while we do our best to get your purchases in the mail as quickly as possible, you can expect to have your item shipped within 3 business days of your purchase. All items are shipped via 1st class or Priority Mail in the US and Priority Mail internationally.
What if my item is damaged in shipment?
Please notify us immediately if an item is damaged in shipment. You can send an email to email@example.com. We will refund your money or replace the damaged item; however, we may need to have the damaged item returned to us.
Do I have to pay my enrollment fee yearly?
No. It is a one-time fee. Once you've paid, you are in the 3K Club for life. Your membership never expires, and you can take as long as you like to accumulate your reward.
What are the perks of being a 3K Club member?
- Earn a $25 Reward Coupon when you spend $250 on full-priced merchandise and classes.
- Beginning Jan 1, 2022, 3K Club members will receive 10% off needlepoint finishing services and yarn finishing/repair services.
- During your birthday month, you will receive a coupon (via email) to make one day of purchases at 20% off. (Coupon must be used during your birthday month.)
How much do I have to spend before I get my $25 Reward Coupon?
When you have spent $250 (on full-priced merchandise and classes; excluding tax, freight, finishing, custom services, discounted items, and gift cards), you will receive your $25 Reward Coupon - which will appear automatically on your account in our system. No need to carry around a reward card. We will let you know when you have earned a Reward Coupon, and the next time you come in, we will remind you that you have a Reward Coupon available to use and ask you if you would like to use it.
Are there any restrictions on using (redeeming) my Reward Coupon?
Yes, there are a few:
- Reward Coupons expire in six months.
- Reward Coupons must be used in full in a single transaction; your purchase must be at least $25 to use your Reward Coupon.
- You may use one Reward Coupon per day.
- Rewards cannot be used to pay for shipping or gift cards.
If I return something that I purchased using a Reward Coupon, do I get my rewards back?
Unfortunately, we are unable to replace rewards if you return something, so please be sure that you want it before you use your reward for it!
Can I give the points for my purchase or points that I have accumulated to someone else?
Points are non-transferable and are intended as a reward for the purchaser.
Are you a member of a needle arts guild (e.g., Minnesota Knitters Guild, Needlework Guild of Minnesota, etc.) or the Textile Center of Minnesota? Show us your membership card, and we'll give you a free membership in our 3K Club!
Are you a member of a stitching/knitting/crochet group who would like to spend some time at 3 Kittens? Call us in advance, and we'll roll out the welcome mat for you! We can also arrange for a dedicated instructor if you wish. Call Julie (needlepoint) or Laura (yarn) to make arrangements.
Here at 3 Kittens Needle Arts, we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us. You will not receive any unsolicited communication from us, nor will we distribute your personal information to anyone else for any purpose. The only time you will ever receive communication from us is if you subscribe to our mailing list and provide consent. Signing up for our 3K Club and giving us your email address constitutes consent to receive email communications from us, including newsletters and birthday coupons.

Hanks of yarn need to be wound into balls or "cakes" prior to being used for knitting/crochet/weaving. We are happy to wind yarns bought from 3 Kittens at any time - when purchased or at a later date. We will wind yarns purchased at other stores for a fee. We also charge a nominal fee to split one skein into multiple balls (for instance, if you will be knitting 2-at-a-time socks). Please note, if we are busy or you have a large number of skeins to be wound, we may ask that you leave your yarn with us and pick it up at a later time in order for us to complete the winding.
