Calling all 3D Gingerbread House fans! Gwendolyn will be teaching two 3D gingerbread houses over one three-day weekend at 3 Kittens! Canvases are from Associated Talents (HH129 Gingerbread Boys Cottage) and Susan Roberts. (6263 Pink Peppermint Lime Slices Roof House).

BEGINNING NEEDLEPOINT - select Saturdays
Join a group of up four stitchers to learn the basics of this creative needle art. Whether you are brand new to needlepoint or need a refresher, this is the class for you. We will help you choose a small project (on 13 mesh canvas) and the perfect threads to bring it to life. You will need a small embroidery scissors and stretcher bars (available here), and your class purchase includes tapestry needles, a needle threader and our How To Needlepoint Handout. Your instructor will teach you the basic needlepoint stitch (called the Tent Stitch), how to open a skein of thread, beginning and ending your thread and what order to stitch the different areas in your canvas. Lots of other tips and tricks shared during class - all you need is your enthusiasm to learn something new!

These one-hour private lessons are on Tuesdays with Paula and are available to anyone wanting to work one-on-one with an instructor. This format works best for stitchers who want to learn a specific technique or make progress on developing a stitch guide for a particular canvas. You may bring any canvas to a private session, and you may book more than one hour at a time.
Cost: $ 60.00
