3 Kittens Needle Arts encompasses many needle arts,
including hardanger, punchneedle, crewel embroidery, Brazilian embroidery,
tatting and more.
Hardanger
- We carry a variety of patterns and fabrics to
complete your hardanger project. In addition, we have two workshops
led by our irrepressible Lisa Hugo. See our

Crewel
3 Kittens offers kits, frames, Jacobean linen twill and a
fantastic crewel embroidery DVD from
The Crewel Work Company
featuring Phillipa Turnball.

Kits (Beginner to Advanced) - every kit includes a
beginner's booklet full of handy hints, fully-detailed stitch and wool color
chart, printed design on Jacobean linen twill, 2-ply Appleton Crewel Wool,
and a crewel needle.

Jacobean Linen Twil - this specially woven fabric
replicates the original 17th century linen twill.

Hands-free Seat Frames - a "sit-on" base and three
interchangeable hoops in sizes 6", 8" and 10" allow you to stitch with less
hassle.

instructions for all the stitches for both beginners and those wishing to

- We offer a range of punchneedle projects, both in
kits and books. In addition, we carry punchneedle fabric, tools,

3 Kittens carries kits and Brazilian embroidery threads
from Ed Mar. Julie and Janine have taught
classes for the St. Paul Embroiderer's Guild, and either would be happy to help
you with your project.
