Welcome to 3 Kittens Needle Arts! We are a
full-service needlework store, serving customers for over 30 years. We
cater to knitters, needlepointers and crocheters with over
1000 yarns, hundreds of knitting and crochet patterns, a large selection of
hand-painted canvasses and needlepoint threads, buttons and other accessories to
make your craft more enjoyable, and many classes to stimulate your imagination.
Gaughi Doll Trunk Show:
May 12 - June 30
 Gaughi
Dolls are the creative expression of Katherine Meyer, who has designed 30 dolls
for needlepointers. The dolls are sold in kits and will be available in
the store during the trunk show. Kits are $50.00 each. All kits will
be 20% off for 3K Club Members or 15% off for non-members. A special armed
services doll, Sam, will be available as well, and Katherine will donate all
proceeds of Sam to a charitable organization. If you would like, you can
also donate a stitched Sam doll to a military unit in Iraq (customer Sheila
Smith's son's unit). On Saturday, May 17th, come to our Gaughi doll open
house to meet Katherine Meyer from 11:00am - 4:00pm. All customers who
purchase a kit during the open house will be entered into a drawing to receive
free threads to make your doll.

We picked up a lovely canvas at the
January market by Alice Peterson of a single Calla Lily for
which we will begin two classes in May, one in the evening and
one during the day. The
stitches will be open-work in order for the lovely shading of
the hand-painted canvas to show throw. Come in and see the
sample that is being stitched! Check our
needlepoint classes page for information on
dates, times and prices. If you are interested in
joining either a day or evening class, please call us to get
your name on the interest list.
3 Kittens is a Sox Hot Spot for the new XRX
"Think Outside the Sox" contest. This is a year-long competition to
design socks in many different categories, some sponsored by yarn companies, and
others by XRX (the publisher of Knitters magazine as well as myriad
books). 3 Kittens is a Hot Spot for Knitters magazine, Colinette,
Skacel, Southwest Trading Company, Mountain Colors and Regia. Come in for
inspiration and materials for your new Hot Sox!

Guild Discounts
We now offer a 10% discount to any guild member.
This includes local guilds (Minnesota Knitters Guild, St Paul Embroiderer's
Guild, etc.), national guilds (such as The Knitting Guild of America, the
Crochet Guild of America, etc.) and The National Needle Arts Association.
You must show your membership card to receive the discount. This offer
cannot be combined with any other discounts, including 3K Club Membership
discounts.

We have a number
of trunk shows coming up. As always, yarns and canvasses of the
companies featured will be 15% off during the run of each trunk show.
Please call in advance if you are coming for
